Sound Matters episode 082 features Tom’s conversation with legendary Cheap Trick drummer, Bun E. Carlos. I’ve had the good fortune to connect with drummer, Bun E. Carlos from the rock and roll hall of fame band, Cheap Trick multiple times through the years, beginning when I was in high school back in the mid 1980’s. Bun E. has played on several the greatest songs and albums in rock and roll history, and has successfully carved out a place for himself in the pantheon of the most original and identifiable drummers of all time. Bun E. has always been very gracious with his time, giving me drumsticks from his collection, as well as from other well-known drummers, to supporting my Musician’s Corner® book when it was released back in 2002, being a guest on my previous television show, to coming on the Sound Matters show currently. Bun E. is full of great stories and insights from his legendary career, and continues to play and create music to this day.
